The festival gives dancers the chance to showcase their skills in a variety of dance forms including classical, jazz, tap, acro, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical.
The Kwinana Dance Festival is a community-based festival which aims to provide a competitive arena for both dancers and schools, in a fair and non-malicious environment. It seeks to aid participants to increase their self-esteem and confidence, and promote a sense of fair play. Koorliny Arts Centre wishes the very best to all 2023 entrants and thanks them for participating.

Tickets and programs are available from September 8, 2023. Get your free program here.
How do I book tickets?
You can book online, in person or over the phone.
Tickets are sold by SESSION, not ITEM, number.
Make sure you have checked the FINAL, not DRAFT, program before you book.
Have the following information ready before you book, in this order:
Do performers need tickets?
If they are going into the theatre to watch, yes. If they are not going in the theatre to watch, no.
Do babies need tickets?
Children over 18 months require a ticket (under Building Regulations) even if they are sitting on your lap.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
It’s always best to buy your tickets ahead of time, rather than taking a chance that there will be tickets left. Please encourage family members who are coming along to watch to purchase tickets in advance, whether online or by calling the Box Office on 9467 7118.
Can we buy day passes?
No, unfortunately, we are unable to offer a day pass option.
