STORIES ON STAGE (2020)

Stories on Stage has been part of Koorliny’s programming since 2012 and has hosted more than 50 Australian authors on stage. We had a number of authors booked in for 2020, but when Covid-19 reared its head, we had to cancel our planned in-house events. Within weeks, we switched to an online format that focused on helping authors promote new-release books since they couldn’t do it in person at bookshops, libraries, festivals, and launches. From April to July, we recorded interviews with Lauren Chater (Gulliver’s Wife), Cassie Hamer (The End of Cuthbert Close), Kate Forsyth and Lorena Carrington (Snow White Rose Red), Josh Langley (Magnificent Mistakes and Fantastic Failures), Kim Kelly (Walking), Lisa Ireland (The Secret Life of Shirley Sullivan), Leah Swann (Sheerwater), Andrew Daddo (Atticus von Tasticus 2), Josephine Moon (The Cake Maker’s Wish), David Roland (The Power of Suffering), and Ashley Kalagian Blunt (How to be Australian) and Maya Linnell (Bottlebrush Creek). In case you missed any of the interviews, here they are.
