LIFESPAN SEATED DANCE

WEDNESDAYS @ 10 AM | TERM 1 RESUMES FEBRUARY 7, 2023

Lifespan Seated Dance Classes are joyful and creative movement classes which give participants a sense of freedom and fun in a safe and supported space. The classes are seated and begin with arm and torso movements, incorporating footwork sequences and progressing towards standing options (supported by the back of the chair).

Endorsed by Dance for Parkinson’s Australia, seated dance classes are an enjoyable way to move your body to music, in a safe and supported space – your chair. Suitable for people with Parkinson’s, MS, limited mobility and balance concerns, this is an invigorating way to exercise and keep your movement pathways strong.

Classes are taught by qualified dance professionals who delight in bringing their choreographic and technical dance knowledge to share.

Supported by Dance for Parkinson’s Australia and the Aged Persons Welfare Foundation.
