Musical Theatre classes are on offer at Koorliny Arts Centre for children 5-12 years of age. Taught by Lea Cullen Lynes, the classes form part of our aim to activate the Koorliny Arts Centre Spaces and enrich the social, emotional and cultural landscape of the community.

Class times: Cancel
5-7s: 2.30pm – 3.30pm
8-12s: 3.30pm – 4.30pm
8-12s TAP: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
Class size is limited to a maximum of 20.
Fees are payable up front at the Box Office each term by the first class date. Cost for children in the 5-7 and 8-12 classes is $12 per class. Cash and EFTPOS payments available.
We ask that children report their attendance at the Box Office each week upon arrival.
Tap students: Shoes can be purchased second hand on eBay or Gumtree. They need to have a low/flat heel, with buckle or laces. They can be tan or black.
No experience is necessary – we will be starting from scratch!
About Lea Cullen Lynes ADPA (Dance) WAAPA, BA (Music Theatre) WAAPA
Lea is a WAAPA Dance (ADPA) and Music Theatre (BA) graduate with over 25 years’ professional and academic teaching experience. Her career has included Senior Dance lecturer WAAPA, Head of Music Theatre Dance Ballarat University School of Arts, Head of Music Theatre Dance National Theatre Melbourne, Senior Dance lecturer University of Notre Dame (Theatre Aboriginal). Lea currently teaches full-time college students at Charlesworth Ballet Institute. She is excited and eager to share her extensive performing arts knowledge with students enrolling in the new Musical Theatre program at Koorliny Arts Centre.
